Another good game from the Flames, who despite losing, were able to come away from the match with many positives and some excellent individual performances. Some notable events in the game:-

Adam D: Brilliant match in a new position. Despite being a right footed player, left wing-back suited his strengths. Strong tackling, positive runs with the ball, and an eagerness to return to defensive duties after forays forward.

Adam V: Made a couple of key saves despite having little to do throughout the match. Excellent push onto the bar in the second half and some good strong ground kicks.

Ryan G: Marshalled the defence well, his communication and understanding of how to compress the game is coming along well. Another match of strong tackling.

Josh C: Ran strongly with the ball and pushed forward in a new position at left midfield for the last 15 minutes.

George H: Held firm at the 'head' of the defensive line. Some key tackles at important times.

Sam C: Strong running, got up and down the pitch well, some good distribution of the ball.

Josh W: A strong first half at left midfield. Good carrying of the ball and some strong, accurate passing and shooting.

Oli P: Prominent in first half, not frightened to run with the ball and beat players.
